2) D3DXIntersect - sudar zraka i celog mesha - daje ti tacan face koji je pogodjen, i baricentricne koordinate.
3) D3DXIntersectTri - sudar zraka i trougla
4) D3DXSphereBoundProbe - sudar bounding spherea i zraka.
Bounding box i bounding sphere mozes da izracunas sa D3DXComputeBoundingBox i D3DXComputeBoundingSphere.
