Description:
eCTRL, Information Technology, Ltd is seeking a creative Senior .NET web programmer (VB.NET / C#) to join our expanding IT team. Primary responsibilities are to design, development and maintainance of dynamic web sites for clients, work on web development projects and initiation of junior developers.
This position is accountable to eCTRL, Information Technology, Ltd IT manager for priorities, for approval of system functions and features; and for best practices for application development, deployment, testing, and bug tracking.
The Senior .NET web programmer (VB.NET / C#) will work cooperatively with the web solutions Project Manager and across organizational boundaries with company operating, technical and financial units to assure complete achievement of clients and company objectives and also with Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) awarded for the area ASP / ASP.NET. The published work product of our Web Developers is the first, and often the most important, impression of the quality of service provided to our clients and their constituents.
The successful candidates are analytical thinkers & creative problem solvers with strong oral and written communication skills.
Requirements:
• At least two years experience and demonstrated proficiency with Classic ASP and ASP.NET 2.0 (VB)
• At least two years experience and demonstrated proficiency with client-side programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• At least two years experience or equivalent training with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, XML, Web Services and browser-based user interface and forms design
• Experience with cross-browser development and testing
• MCPD Web developer certificate (or equivalent knowledge)
• Fluent in English language (written and oral)
